My name is Sascha Allemann. As November’s Instagramer of the month, I will be giving you a look behind the scenes of SWISS Line Maintenance at Zurich.
Having grown up surrounded by books on aviation, model aeroplanes and mechanics, my passion for aviation kindled within me at a very early age. Following my training as an Aircraft Engine Engineer, I joined SWISS, where I now work as a cabin engineer on short- and long-haul aircraft.
Do you know what maintenance involves?
We make sure that the entire aircraft fleet is permanently ready for take-off and kept in top condition. ‘Servicing’ is a generic term used in aircraft maintenance and implies carrying out regular maintenance on the aircraft, as well as alterations and inspections inside the cabin and on the plane itself.
I would like to take you on a journey through the exciting and multifaceted world of SWISS Line Maintenance and show you everything that goes on behind the scenes so that you can enjoy a safe flight on board our aircraft.
